In January-March, Kernel increased grain exports from Ukraine

In January-March of 2019/20 FY, the agricultural holding Kernel exported 2.15 mln tonnes of grains from Ukraine, an increase of 41% compared with the same period last year, reported the press-service of the company.

In particular, agricultural subdivisions of Kernel produced nearly 35% of the reporting volumes, while external suppliers produced the remaining volumes.

According to the announcement, in the third quarter of the current fiscal year grain transshipment in the export terminals of the agricultural holding in Ukraine increased by 66% — to 1.94 mln tonnes, in terms of the strong growth of grain exports, and increasing of the contribution of the new grain terminal TransGrainTerminal. In the reporting period, the holding reduced acceptance of grains and oilseeds for storage by 65% — to 124.54 thsd tonnes.

At the same time, for the first nine months of 2019/20 FY Kernel increased grain exports from Ukraine by 30% — to 6 mln tonnes. In July-March period, grain transshipment in the export terminals of the agricultural holding increased by 41% — to 4.82 mln tonnes. In the reporting period, the acceptance of grains and oilseeds for storage reduced by 2% — to 4.12 mln tonnes.
