According to Rosstat, Russia exported record monthly 92 thsd tonnes of rapeseed oil in November, up 9% compared to October.
About 55% of the overall volume (51 thsd tonnes) was exported to Norway in November, up more than 3 times compared to October.
China cut Russian rapeseed oil import to 29 thsd tonnes (-38%) in November.
Monthly surplus of export of rapeseed oil has been observed in Russia within 2020/21 MY. APK-Inform says it is based on record rapeseed crop in Russia in 2020 as well as high demand for rapeseed oil in Europe.
Russia exported 294 thsd tonnes of rapeseed oil so far in 2020/21 MY, up 8% compared to the first 4 months of the preceding season. The volume exported was record for that period.
