Kazakhstan exported 5.7 thsd tonnes of rapeseed to Iran in December. It was the maximum monthly volume over the recent 2 seasons, reported Bureau of National statistics of Agency for Strategic planning and reforms.
Kazakhstan postponed the export of rapeseed to Iran since January 2020 and resumed it in October 2020.
Kazakhstan exported 5.8 thsd tonnes of rapeseed to Iran in July-December of 2020/21 MY, up 8% compared to the same period of the preceding season. Thus, Iran turned to be the leading importer of Kazakh rapeseed.
