Ukraine exported 2.8 mln tonnes of agricultural products in FH of November

During the first 15 days of November, Ukraine exported 2.8 mln tonnes of grains, pulses, oilseeds and by-products, which is 800 thsd tonnes less than in the first half of October. About 1.5 mln tonnes of agricultural products were exported through the grain corridor in November, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine informed.

"Export of wheat totaled 829 thsd tonnes, corn – 774 thsd tonnes in the first half of November. By the middle of October, shipments of each commodity was more than 1 mln tonnes", – the ministry said.

Export of sunflower oil amounted to 307 thsd tonnes, which was 42 thsd tonnes more than shipped by mid-October. Shipments of soybeans totaled 199 thsd tonnes in the first half of November against 118 thsd tonnes in the first half of October.

The volume of shipments of sunflower seed increased by 34 thsd tonnes to 186 thsd tonnes. Instead, rapeseed deliveries more than halved to 183 thsd tonnes in 15 days of November against 341 thsd tonnes in 16 days of October.

"Meals deliveries decreased by 84 thsd tonnes to 173 thsd tonnes. On the other hand, the volume of barley shipments in November was virtually unchanged m/m and amounted to 166 thsd tonnes", – the ministry reported.

In the first half of November, the export of agricultural products from Ukraine included 27.39% of corn, 29.33% of wheat, 10.86% of sunflower oil, 6.6% of sunflower seed, 6.48% of rapeseed, 6.13% of meals, 5.88% of barley, 7.05% of soybean, 0.28% of soybean oil. Ukraine exported 1.9 mln tonnes of products via ports (sea and river), 541 thsd tonnes by rails, 325 thsd tonnes by roads and 30 thsd tonnes by ferries.
