Russian SovEcon raised country’s wheat export forecast for 2022/23 MY by 0.3 mln tonnes to 43.4 mln tonnes.
The upward correction was made due to the growing import demand and increasing of harvest prospects, they said.
SovEcon said that Russia had exported 10.2 mln tonnes of wheat in July-September, down 22% y/y and down 14% compared to 5 year average.
The analysts noted that the shipments were limited by the strong ruble and export duty.
