On April 13, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Razumkov signed and sent the draft law #2178-10 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the agricultural land turnover” for signature to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, informed the web-site of the Parliament.
As a reminder, on March 31 at the extraordinary session the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law on opening of the land market from July 1, 2021, with restrictions of its operation for the first three years as for land purchasing to natural persons only and at the maximum volume of 100 ha per person.
On April 13, the people's deputies considered 13 registered draft decrees on cancellation of the law, and voted against them, which allowed the further signature of the law.
