According to the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MY, as of September 8, Ukraine exported to foreign markets 5.054 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
As of September 9, 2022, Ukrainian grain exports reached 5.291 mln tonnes.
In particular, in the current season, shipments include:
- wheat – 2.293 mln tonnes (1.651 mln tonnes in 2022);
- barley – 528 thsd tonnes (447 thsd tonnes);
- rye – 0.6 thsd tonnes (0.8 thsd tonnes);
- corn – 2.22 mln tonnes (3.174 mln tonnes).
The total export of Ukrainian wheat flour, as of September 8, 2023, reached 26.7 thsd tonnes (13.8 thsd tonnes in 2022).
