As of June 26, farmers of Ukraine harvested 100 thsd tonnes of agricultural crops, informed the Deputy Minister for Development of Economy, Taras Vysotskyi.
“The weather conditions allowed to start the harvesting campaign earlier in 2020 compared to the previous years. Several regions of southern oblasts were the first who began the field works”, - he specified.
Thus, as of the reported date, farmers harvested winter crops (barley, wheat and rapeseed) throughout 35.7 thsd ha – about 26 thsd ha in Mykolayiv oblast, 7.24 thsd ha in Kherson oblast and 2.5 thsd ha in Odessa oblast.
