According to the State Customs Service, in June, Ukraine exported 588.2 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil at the sum of 434.8 mln USD, including 527 thsd tonnes of crude oil and 61.2 thsd tonnes of refined oil.
June export volume was the record high of the month, up 26% compared to the year ago figure (467 thsd tonnes at the sum of 232.4 mln USD). At the same time, the export volume declined by 8% compared to the result of May 2020.
Since the beginning of 2019/20 MY (September-June), Ukraine exported 5.7 mln tonnes of sunflower oil, up 10% compared to the same period of the previous season.
