As of October 1, Ukrainian farmers harvested grains and pulses throughout 10.89 mln ha and produced 29.667 mln tonnes of grain with the average yield 3.64 t/ha, informed the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In particular, agrarians harvested wheat throughout 6.503 mln ha. Production volumes totaled 25.22 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.88 t/ha. Barley was harvested throughout 2.37 mln ha. Output reached 7.81 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.3 t/ha. Agrarians harvested rye throughout 135.5 thsd ha. Production volumes totaled 465.5 thsd tonnes with the yield of 3.45 t/ha. Oats was harvested throughout 197.5 thsd ha. Output reached 530 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.68 t/ha. Farmers harvested millet throughout 130.6 thsd ha. Production volumes totaled 223.5 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.71 t/ha. Buckwheat was harvested throughout 68.8 thsd ha. Output reached 90 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.33 t/ha. Corn for grain was harvested throughout 1.16 mln ha, production volumes reached 4.64 mln tonnes with the yield of 4.01 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested peas throughout 223.6 thsd ha. Production volumes totaled 493 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.11 t/ha.
Ukrainian farmers harvested rapeseed throughout 1.1 mln ha and the production volume reached 2.58 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.35 t/ha. Soybean was harvested throughout 766.2 thsd ha and the production volume reached 1.48 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.93 t/ha. Farmers harvested sunflower seed throughout 4.9 mln ha. Production volume reached 9.69 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.98 t/ha.
