As of October 29, farmers of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 13.2 mln ha or 86% of the planned area. The production volumes reached 51.9 mln tonnes, declared the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
- corn was harvested throughout 3.4 mln ha or 62% of the planned area. The output reached 16.05 mln tonnes;
- millet was harvested throughout 147.7 thsd ha or 98% of the planned area. The output reached 239.5 thsd tonnes;
- buckwheat was harvested throughout 77.3 thsd ha or 98% of the planned area. The output reached 99.5 thsd tonnes;
- sunflower seed was harvested throughout 6 mln ha or 94% of the planned area. The output reached 11.9 mln tonnes;
- soybean was harvested throughout 1.1 mln ha or 85% of the planned area. The output reached 2.3 mln tonnes.
As of October 29, farmers harvested 68.7 mln tonnes of main agricultural crops throughout 21.5 mln ha.
