Export pace of Ukrainian wheat complies with Memorandum terms

Current export pace of Ukrainian wheat shows that its final volume of shipments in 2020/21 MY will not exceed that determined by the Memorandum of mutual understanding signed by the participants of the grain market and the Ministry for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, declared the Deputy Minister for Development of Economy, Taras Vysotskyi on November 30.

“Wheat export slowed down. It corresponds with the planned dynamics. Thus, we will stay within the agreed volume of wheat export. Ukraine has already exported 67% of the volume set in the Memorandum. The country has shipped abroad 11.8 mln tonnes of wheat, including 7.9 mln tonnes of milling wheat”, - T.Vysotskyi pointed out.

The limit volume of wheat export was set at 17.5 mln tonnes for 2020/21 MY.
