The Prime Minister of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin signed the decree No33 as of January 23 specifying the size of export duties on wheat, barley and corn, informed the governmental press-service on January 26.
“From February 15 to February 28 wheat (1000 kg) will be subject to the duty at 25 EUR, from February 15 to March 14 barley and corn (1000 kg) will be subject to the duty at 0 EUR. From March 1 to June 30 wheat will be subject to the duty at 50 EUR, from March 15 to June 30 barley and corn will be subject to the duty at 10 EUR and 25 EUR correspondingly. This refers to the in-quota export, the amount of quota is set at 17.5 mln tonnes. The export of grains out of quota will be subject to the duty at 50% but not less than 100 EUR per 1000 kg”, - was stated in the message.
This decision does not cover supplies to the Customs Union.
“This measure will promote the decline of export and allow to redirect the market participants from export of raw materials to export of agricultural products with high added value”, - was stated in the message.
