By the end of the first ten-day period of April, winter crops have resumed vegetation across the entire territory of Ukraine. Plants were mainly in phases of tillering, formation of roots and formation of third leaf, informed Ukrhydrometcenter.
The condition of plants was mainly good. At the same time, frosts damaged leaf surface of plants in Kyiv and Rivne oblasts.
Seedling emergence and sprouting were observed for early spring grains (wheat, barley, oats).
