Ukrainian farmers have started harvesting corn and soybean, informs the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

As of September 2, Ukrainian farmers harvested 25.8 thsd tonnes of corn with the yield of 5.99 t/ha throughout 0.1% of the planned area, 15.7 thsd tonnes of soybean with the yield of 5.67 t/ha throughout 0.2% of the area.

Besides, agrarians of Ukraine harvested 44.93 mln tonnes of grains and pulses with the average yield of 4.39 t/ha throughout 64.2% of the plan.

In particular, agrarians harvested 32.81 mln tonnes of wheat with the yield of 4.64 t/ha throughout 99.6% of the area. Also, Ukraine harvested 10.094 mln tonnes of barley with the yield of 4.1 t/ha throughout 99.6% of the area, 21.1 thsd tonnes of buckwheat with the yield of 1.18 t/ha throughout 21.3% of the plan and 58.2 thsd tonnes of millet with the yield of 2.23 t/ha throughout 33.3% of the plan.

Additionally, farmers harvested 2.816 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yield of 2.79 t/ha throughout 99.7% of the area, 38.8 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed with the yield of 1.77 t/ha throughout 1.2% of the area.
