Russia resumes its participation in the "grain initiative", the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated on November 2.
According to the statement, thanks to the participation of the UN and Turkey, written guarantees were allegedly received from Ukraine that the "grain corridor" would not be used by Kyiv to conduct hostilities against Russia.
"The Russian Federation believes that the received guarantees seem to be sufficient at the moment, and resumes the implementation of the agreement "Initiative on the safe transportation of grain and food from the ports of Ukraine", – Russia said.
