According to APK-Inform figures, in the beginning of May 2018 the Ukrainian and Russian seaports demonstrated a bearish trend for vegetable oils, due to rather low demand for the product in terms of a significant level of supply. Also, the similar dynamics on the global market of vegetable oils supported the downward trend in the reporting countries.

As of May 4, bid prices for Ukrainian sunflower oil were usually declared within the range of 760-770 USD/t FOB, down nearly 10 USD/t compared with the last week level. Also, bid prices for soybean oil in the seaports of Ukraine decreased by nearly 10 USD/t, and mainly did not exceed 745 USD/t CPT.

In the seaports of Russia, bid prices for crude sunflower oil decreased by 5 USD/t per week, to 740-750 USD/t FOB.

You can get acquainted with the main trends of the Ukrainian and Russian markets of vegetable oils, after becoming the participant of the Second international conference Sunflower Oil & Meal Trade Conference, which takes place in Shanghai (China), Shanghai Marriott Hotel Riverside, on June 27, 2018.
