According to APK-Inform, the export prices of Russian sunflower oil kept on growing last week.
Lower number of offers from producers amid problems with sunflower seed purchases supported the prices. Some processing enterprises suspended activity for maintenance works. The upward price trend on the world market of vegetable oils, stronger crude oil prices and high costs of port logistics pushed the prices of Russian sunflower oil up too.
As of May 23, the offer prices of crude sunflower oil increased by 45-60 USD/t to 2000-2055 USD/t FOB (May-June). The bid prices grew by 30-40 USD/t to 1910-1950 USD/t FOB.
