Growing supply of new-crop grain pressuring bid prices of wheat in Ukrainian ports – APK-Inform

According to APK-Inform, the bid prices of traders for wheat remained quite stable in the ports of Great Odesa and the Danube last week.

The prices were supported by the stronger demand due to the growing export amid concerns about further functioning of the “grain deal”. More active sales by farmers and competition from processors pushed the prices up as well. However, these factors were offset by the completion of the harvesting campaign of early grains, progress of the harvesting of the late grains and planting of the winter crops as well as logistic problems.

The bid prices of 2-grade, 3-grade and feed wheat totaled 185-215, 180-210 and 150-180 USD/t СРТ-port or 7500-8750, 7300-8550 and 6250-7400 UAH/t in the ports of the Danube and Great Odesa.
