Ukrainian companies may purchase grains for export from the Crimea – experts
Ukrainian companies may purchase grains from the Crimean producers to realize its export supplying, keeping within the law, declared Vladimir Klimenko, President of the Ukrainian Grain Association, on July 31 within the press-conference "Conditions and prospects of the grain market of Ukraine in 2014/15 MY".
According to him, the territory of Crimea is the Ukrainian territory. So, if some Ukrainian companies receive grains from the Crimea by road, and export the grain volumes, it is absolutely legal.
He added that Russian companies can not export grains of the Crimean origin, due to the sanctions against them.
In turn, Rodion Rybchinskiy, Head of Business Projects Division of APK-Inform Agency, said that the Crimea banned the exports of milling grains, but do not feed grains. Therefore, shipping of feed grains to Ukrainian elevators is legal.
