According to the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MY, as of September 1, Ukraine exported 4.521 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 2.247 mln tonnes in August, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
Last year as of August 31, total grain export from Ukraine reached 3.964 mln tonnes, including 2.264 mln tonnes in August.
In the current season, Ukraine shipped to foreign markets in particular:
- wheat – 1,992 mln tonnes (1.171 mln tonnes in August);
- barley – 480 thsd tonnes (185 thsd tonnes);
- rye – 0.6 thsd tonnes (0.1 thsd tonnes);
- corn – 2.039 mln tonnes (886 thsd tonnes).
The total export of Ukrainian flour, as of September 1, reached 23.9 thsd tonnes (14 thsd tonnes in August), including 23.1 thsd tonnes of wheat flour (13.5 thsd tonnes in August).
