Description and targets of the study

 

The first study concerning the issue was prepared in May 2006. The relevance of the study is specified by peculiarities of the transport infrastructure of the countries of the Black Sea region. The port capacities of Ukraine and Russia are the key links in the logistic chain of export grain supplies to the countries of the Middle East and the North Africa.

Due to the growth of transport capacities in both Ukraine and Russia, and the widening of infrastructure opportunities, and appearance of new market players, on the logistics market, the market feels the necessity of annual renewing of the study data.

The study will become interesting to heads, commercial directors of enterprises, analysts, logistic managers of grain trading companies, and others, interested in foreign economic activity on the market of grains.

In the current year, the study includes not only the data concerning Ukraine and Russia, but also reviews the transport infrastructure of Turkey, Moldova, Georgia.
