In the first ten-day period of November, the weather was warm in Ukraine. The average decade temperature reached (+2,5-5,6°С) and the average daily temperature.

Effective precipitation (norm and higher) were observed across eastern, many parts of northern and central oblasts in the first 5 days of the period.

The sunshine duration to the soil surface varied from 5 in the north to 37 hours in the south that was close to multiyear average across most of the country.

The average air temperature exceeded the norm by 1-2.9°С in Odessa, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpatska and Chernivtsi oblasts, and by 3.2-5.7° С across the rest of the country. The average temperature totaled +6.4° to +9.1°С.

The maximal air temperature increased to +13-15°С. It reached +16-18°С in the south, in Donetsk, Lviv and Zakarpatska oblasts.

The minimal air temperature declined to -1-4°С. It totaled 0 to +2°С in eastern, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi and Rivne oblasts.

Temperature of soil surface declined to 0° to -3°С in the coldest nights. It was warmed up to +18-29°С in the warmest days.

Precipitations were observed during 1-3 days across almost the entire territory of the country.

The average temperature of the soil at the depth of 10 cm  totaled +8-11°C.

The relative humidity of the air varied within the range of 81% to 95%.

For 1 day, the wind speed increased to 15-18 m/sec across parts of Poltava, Kharkov, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Luhansk and southern Odessa oblasts

Agrometeorological conditions were favorable for growth and development of winter crops in Ukraine in the first ten-day period of November. There were no significant decline of night-times temperatures.

Average air temperature was rather high. Frosts were insignificant. Such conditions prolonged autumn vegetation of crops. Soil moisture content was favorable. Taking into account mass late planted crops, such weather conditions were very favorable for phase development of these crops.

Mass tillering and formation of nodal roots started across many fields. Conditions were favorable for formation of full-scale root system of winter crops.

As of November 10, most of winter crops reached tillering period that was optimal for wintering and was close to multiyear figures.

Visual condition and phase development were mainly good. In southern and eastern oblasts, topsoil moisture content finally became satisfactory and sufficient after long-lasting drought. However, moisture content remained insufficient across some fields in southern and eastern oblasts.

Warm weather promoted development of diseases and pests as well as migration of mouse-like rodents.
